Attitude Performing Arts College

Coaching One to Ones

No, but we are happy to do a trial lessons that can be paid for as a one off.

No. Invoices are sent out and paid for in half termly instalments.

We only take students from age 5, but other than that, no! We have no upper age limit and you do not need to have taken previous grades or have any experience.

Send us an email or text to arrange an informal discussion about your needs and goals. We will arrange a suitable coach and a set day and time for your weekly or bi-weekly lesson at a set location (your house usually, but this may be your coach’s house or studio).

Schools:

Absolutely not! In fact, we pay you! Just invoice us for hire of a room or space during the school day and we will set up payments.

Yes. All our staff have up to date enhanced DBS checks, insurance and relevant qualifications and/or experience.

There are many benefits to both the school and students from gaining UCAS points to building a core of students with high skill levels in communication, presentation and performance.

Whilst our lessons take place during the school day, we have several provisions in place to ensure minimal disruption. We send out timetables in advance so students know what time their next lesson is and can pre warn teachers if necessary, we rotate the timetable each week so no one is missing the same lesson and if there is a particular class a student needs to be in, we will work around it. Many of our lessons actually aid subjects such as Maths and English.

Next to none! The only thing we ask is that you send out our pre written letter to advertise spaces…when we have them! Absolutely everything else goes through us.

Diplomas:

Not as such, but we will ask you to submit a video of you singing a musical theatre song, along with a short discussion about any experience you’ve got, just so we’ve got an idea of your abilities and style. As these diplomas are individual, we do not have limited spaces and would only turn a student away if we did not feel they would be capable of achieving the required standard of the level. However, we may recommend starting at a lower level or grade to build up their skill set first.

No. You must just be capable of achieving the requirements of the level.

We recommend starting no younger than age 16 for level 4, however this is a guideline and we accept student applications from any age. There is no upper age limit.

Whether you want to be a professional performer, a teacher or maybe start your own business, these diplomas can give you the qualifications and training you need.

Anyone! They are particularly good for those who do not want or cannot commit to full time training, whether that’s someone taking a gap year, a parent or someone needing to work alongside training, however they are open to all!

Exactly the same as all our lessons at APA. You can have as many or as few weekly lessons as you choose and for any length of time. You can have someone come to you, you to them or you can take classes online with us. We will chat with you before you start and set out a plan and you will be able to pay half termly. We do have packages as a start point for those unsure of their needs, which we can send you upon inquiry.

However long you like! Within reason, of course! It all depends on how often you’re taking lessons and how much work you’re able to do in between. We will speak to you before you start to see what your goals and obstacles are and figure out a realistic time frame for you. You can always ask about our packages for inspiration if you’re unsure.
